The location turned out to be marvellous and easy, adjacent to the train station in a village 3 hours away, the lake and temple and Sigiriya, Dambulla and Kandy itself...

The room was reasonably spacious and bright, included a balcony and a kettle. There were exceptionally good mountain views, I appreciated it.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Not only is it amazing value for money, but the staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location may be slightly away from the main sights, but the peaceful and serene surroundings offer the perfect respite from the bustling city. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities, and the ones with a balcony offer a stunning view over the valley. Plus, the breakfast is included and the hoppers are a must-try!

I had a fantastic experience at Galaxy City. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They even helped me arrange a cheaper Tuk Tuk for my transportation needs. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice sitting area and kitchen on every floor. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was excellent. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the hotel manager, Zameek, even gave me a tour of the hotel and shared exciting plans for future improvements. The hotel also works with a great tourist guide named Laxman, who provided an informative and enjoyable day-long excursion. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Kandy.

The room was both updated and modern with a nice view and a balcony, for instance. Besides, the location was particularly good and easy for our stay, within 20 minutes' walk of World Buddhist Museum.

The location was a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of town, which was perfect for us as it was very peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. Spent Xmas holiday in a hotel in Sri Lanka. The pool was nice and the beach was just a few steps away. The continental breakfast had decent options. The staff, despite some language barriers, were friendly and helpful.

The room had a terrible musty smell as soon as we walked in. The AC wasn't working well and it felt like we were just using a fan.

The hotel is in a convenient location with good Wi-Fi. The rooms are large, clean, and have modern amenities, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff is friendly and provides good service, including arranging transportation to local attractions. The breakfast is tasty and satisfying, whether you prefer Sri Lankan or European options.

The prices for drinks at the hotel are much higher than at surrounding places.

Celebrating New Year's Eve in this hotel was a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, with excellent service. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the high speed Wi-Fi was a plus. The breakfast was delicious, and the fact that they offered transportation services made our stay more convenient. The hotel being located in a quiet area was also a big plus.

The lack of a mini fridge in the room, which would have been helpful. the parking area was small and got busy during our stay.
